About Delaware Valley Ridge Riders Snowmobile Club

Delaware Valley Ridge Riders Tucker SnoCat Groomers
The Delaware Valley Ridge Riders snowmobile club is located in Delaware County, the Catskill Mountain region of New York. We are proud members of the New York State Snowmobile Association. Delaware County is a host for over 354 miles of New York State Corridor Trails. Our club maintains over 70 miles of them. Our club is a steward for two of New York State Parks, Campbell Mountain-Cherry Ridge and Bear Spring Mountain Wildlife Game Management area.  Trail Map "Click" Here

Trail C2 goes through both of these great parks with numerous secondary trails for your enjoyment. The Town of Downsville provides gas, food, lodging and services to connector trails and neighboring clubs. Bear Spring Mountain is one of the best kept secrets in the Catskill Forest Preserve. At an elevation of 2,600 feet and a normal snow depth of 18-25 inches even when other areas have no snow. This area is a snowmobilers haven, sometimes referred to as a little "Tug Hill." These trails are wide, adventurous, and well maintained. Our club uses a Tucker SnoCat 1000 to groom these gems. Our club was established in the early 1970's. We presently have 370+ single and family memberships and are still continuing to grow.

You can apply to join the club by registering online and sending us the cheque for the registration fees by post. Alternately you can download the application form and fill it and send it along with the fees.

Trail Riding

Richard & Tommy Gray rode from
Morton Hill Russle Brook to
Downsville; then up to Bear Spring
& back. Had a great day. Saw
some great scenery. Trail is open all the way with a few rough spots
but still rideable. Planning on
going back tomorrow. Thanks to
the riders giving us directions
back to Downsville from Bear Spring -
got a little lost. Campbell Mt.
trails could use some grooming
hint hint.
